The world don't move to the beat of just one drum. What might be right for you, may not be right for some. It takes Diff'rent Strokes to move the world, yes it does...

I don't care what you say anymore cause it's 'My Life'. Go ahead with your own life, leave me alone.

Did you notice that link of the guys freestyling (ad-lib rapping) in Leeds, UK in the 'Different Strokes' post right above the Insane Clown Posse post?

Yep! Sure did ...... I've always liked freestyling, it sounds so fresh/new.
I quite liked it, but not seen many examples of decent freestyling rapping recently.

One common thing over here in the UK, is to combine rap and dance music together, something that I quite like.

Loved it back in must have been '89 when my folks first got Sky. Yo MTV Raps was on i think every friday at 6pm, was superb to watch, had many great rappers on it back then and live performances. Went downhill a few years later but in the early years of Sky showing it it was briliant.

Still have an old VHS tape somewhere at my folks with tons of stuff i had recorded off this show

Gain popularity! Become a big hit with exciting people world-wide! :D

By getting to work uploading them to YouTube. Sony Vegas has an export to YouTube video option for either normal or high quality.

I have Rappin' 4-Tay's Off Parole CD. It's a classic for good modern rap. It sounds really good even though it came out back in '96.

^Thank f*ck, I thought hip hop was even less popular than Russell Brand on here(!)

I'm as much a nerd of retro gaming as I am of 'true skool' (1992-1996) hip hop and 70s jazz and funk fusion! Great hip hop is amazing, and there's so much of it, even since my preferred era of it!!! (Trouble is, you can't ever convince people who say "It's not rap music, it's crap music" who think (A.) they were the first person on Earth to ever say that, (B.) it was an original, comic idea they had, they either like Genesis, The Jam/Paul Weller, Oasis, Marillion, Bruce Springsteen, and/or finally Elvis Presley, 'The King', you're truly embarking on a battle that is stalemate at best, epic loss at worst.)

People like Big L, Wu-Tang, Redman, Gang Starr/DJ Premier, Ice Cube, ODB, A Tribe Called Quest, Ghostface, Scarface, Ugly Duckling, Kool Keith, Canibus, etc. etc., there're so many, their output is epic. Rap is f*cking excellent and has such a depth of retro gems to dig deep for! :)

This rapper, Devin (the Dude), since 1998, has continued to release album after album of excellent raps coupled with great music, it's mostly live instruments (real bass and electric guitars, horns, etc.) In his songs he often refers to marijuana as coffee or rather coughee. This was his latest, released in October 2013.

This presently is his latest, from 2017:

De la soul are one of the best rap bands ever. 3feet high and rising is a effing classic album, totally bonkers and full of great music.
