Ruined (only a bit mind) by Snarf. The Thundercats equivalent to Jar Jar Binks!

My favourite was Battle of the Planets though. Again, slightly tarnished in the UK with the inclusion of 7-Zark-7!

Best cartoon ever.

Lion-O would kick He-Man's arse.

And Cheetara, I so would!

Did you know they are making a CGI animated ThunderCats film?

If this is true, then oh no. I wish they would leave the classics alone and not ruin our childhood memories. Thunderbirds The Movie, naff. Speed Racer The Movie, even more naff. Transformers The Movie, very dizzy naff with the unstoppable shaky camerawork during the battle scenes which you couldn't work out what was going on. It has been quoted that an art director for Gears Of War will be working on the Thundercats CGI movie. Should be interesting although I don't know whether it will bring back memories like all the other failed remake attempts.

100% agree. Even back then as a kid i hated the silly character, you had one in He-Man as well which could have been a great cartoon apart from the silly 'kids dont do this' type message at the end and their own 'Jar Jar Binks'.

But yep Snarf and 7-Zark-7 i wish were out of both of those shows

I still would. And I didn't know about the CGI movie. I would have preferred a live action one with Samuel L Jackson as Panthro, but still CGI is better than nothing.

Long live Thundercats.

The thing that always made me laugh about Thundercats was the fact there was a psychologist listed in the credits...

I would cast Vin Diesel as Panthro, Uma Thurman as Cheetara and just ditch Snarf. Not sure who I'd cast in the other roles though...

Thundercats was brilliant. Loved the way the Chetara had a more masculine voice then Liono. My motorbike is even a Thundercat! Hoooo!

A site with some ammusing outtakes. Contains swearing so be warned if you are easily offended.

I think therefore I'm right!
