I think the reason more and more shows like this were cancelled was the advent of cable and sky whereby we didnt only have 3 or 4 channels to flick through - we suddenly had 100 channels of pure censored where we could watch re runs of 321 or blankety blank to our hearts content.
oh Bring back "Knightmare"

I love(d) Knightmare. I think you can still get old episodes on Challenge TV (Sky TV, unsure of channel number!)

The Incredible Hulk..... David Banner never did find a cure did he throughout the television series? It did make the whole series rather pointless. I would have like to have seen him cured and not through death as in that tagged on TV movie.

Not strictly in the tv series.
Why Did They Change The Lead Character's Name From Bruce Banner To David Banner?
There are a couple of versions of this story. The first was that the name "Bruce" was considered stereotypically gay in the 1970s. The second was that producer Ken Johnson hated illiterating names like "Bruce Banner", "Clark Kent", "Matt Murdock" and "Peter Parker."
Whatever the rationale, David Bruce Banner was the official name of the live-action lead character. Incidentally, he was named after producer Kenneth Johnson's eldest son - David Johnson. For those who are fans of Johnson's popular "V" miniseries, you may be interested in knowing that the two lead characters in that series - Julie Parish and Mike Donovan - were named after his other two children.

Interceptor is the first one that springs to mind. Had a mean, nasty lead and his co-pilot could do the most amazing flying stunts in his helicopter. Like Treasure Hunt but good.

Futurama, damn I love that show so much and Firefly......damn you Fox damn you. Two great sci fi tv shows canned, then both go on to make movies just to prove they can make money. Pure sticking it to the man,
Don't hate the gnome, hate the game.

Surprised nobody said Gamesmaster.
Not particularly a game show, but years ahead of it's time. Bloody shame that all the video game shows now are crap.

John Craven's Newsround
Craven's newsround would be something i'd watch.
(Ubviously this would be, Wes 'The hills have eyes' Craven and not Wes 'I don't need a storyline' Craven.
And you wonder why you're being labelled as elitist... you couldn't be any more elite if you were a wireframe.
