Retro Gamer Gathering?
Has anyone ever thought about or pitched a Retro Gamer convention? That'd be superb! (Sorry if someone has said this before! I forget about this forum!)

When and where is that?markopoloman wrote:You could always go to the 'RetroFusion Weekend of Gaming' later in the year
I've been trying to find that Retro Fusion magazine, both the Torquay and Newton Abbot Gamestation stores don't have it. Shame it isn't in WH Smiths yet. Guess I'll have to order it online.
EDIT: Ohh, I see it isn't offically out until 14th April. Guess I'll have to check again at the weekend.

Try www.retrofusion.co.uk - as far as i know it's not going to be stocked in WHSmiths, only in GameStation stores.
If any meetings get planned I'm certainly on for meeting up - a good time would be to meet up at that GAME ON / Nintendo shindig show that's supposed to be touring this year I believe.

That's actually at the Science Museum in London from the autumn. Hmmm, Friday night drinking session, Saturday wandering round the exhibition and maybe a few games shops, Saturday night drinking session, go home (a wreck) on Sunday... sounds like a PLAN!
