I think this has been asked before but....
Hi!
I seem to recall this being asked in a letters page before so i apologize up front - but...any plans for a feature on handheld games like the ones made by Grandstand and Tomy?
Speaking as someone so old that i had to serve my early gaming years before Sir Clive brought computers into our living room i have fond memories of games such as Munchman and Invaders From Space, not to mention the infamous Blip (i used to play that for hours - my folks must have hated me!) and the slightly more passable UFO Invaders, which also doubled as Breakout at the flick of a switch!
And when i wasn't gaming i was playing with my Starbird and that black enemy ship which i can't remember the name of.
I think my prized possession was the Tron handheld though...mmmm.....Tron...handheld......

Well , there's been a feature on someone who COLLECTS them , so I'm assuming & hoping that they are going to be classified as retro gamesCLOADM wrote:Hi!

I sincerely hope they'll be covered soon. With the recent collection featured, they have an ideal source for reference.

'Matchbox Steer N Go' might be the noisy car steering wheel thing.
I still have one from my childhood in my Parents loft.
There was a wire arm inside a plastic mountain with roads around it.
On top of the wire was a light and you had to keep the light on the road as a motor turned the moutain.
The little car followed the light using magnets both under the car and on the wire arm.
Maybe this is it ????
