Post by resident paul » Thu Sep 27, 2007 3:55 pm

Which is the first video game to use multi-player on the same screen?
And which first video game to use split-screen multi-player 2 or more?

Street Racer on SNES got 4 player split screen.

Surely some other games had it before that though?

First split screen game is Drag Race; a 1977 arcade game. It was later ported to the VCS as Dragster.
