The PS2 Fighter's Generation compilation is excellent and I can't see any problem with the graphics on this version? (I'm using an old CRT set though). Mostly, I play the secret SFZ3 Upper mode. The hidden Hyper SFZ mode is also a fantastic addition.
Also, got the PS2 Darkstalker's Collection which is just as good.

If anyone had a concern with the PS2 collection, it's that the graphics aren't true low-resolution. Infact, the graphics are stretched on PS2, which to some, can really repulse.Kaede wrote:The PS2 Fighter's Generation compilation is excellent and I can't see any problem with the graphics on this version? On that note, I believe Fighter's Generation is getting a 'Best' release, so it should be quite cheap now (if not soon) and actually availible.

Man, no love for the Dreamcast version, you'd think it was completely broken, haha! I thought it played just fine; the fun factor was never low with that game.

PS2 is stretched. The original resolution is not maintained. All you need to do is compare it to Sega Saturn, which as I've tested is the only port to have correct resolution. It's still a great version(better than nearly everything else), don't get me wrong, but it does not look completely correct.woody.cool wrote:The PS2 version looks like it's almost a perfect port / conversion of the arcade original.

Wikipedia is a site that anyone can update so obvious someone bias about Sega. I admit I like the Saturn and some of their games are great but don't take the opinion of someone you will never meet and just play the game for your own. Don't take this harsh. The comment you seen will probably will be removed as I've put comments in other topics and the next week or month that happened. Yanks don't know fact from fiction.
