Grandslam Entertainment?

Post by Treguard » Tue Oct 04, 2016 11:06 am

Was just reliving the horror of Peter Beardsley's International Soccer with a mate at work, was wondering if there's ever been an article on Grandslam Entertainment? They did release some utter turkey's (Peter Shilton's Handball Maradona anyone?) but Thunderbirds was great, Nick Faldo's Golf was the best golf game on the Amiga in my opinion and Bump N Burn and base Jumpers are some of the better later games on the Amiga too.

They wrote International Cricket on the Spectrum, one of my favourite games at the time that I still play sometimes. And it was given away free with Your Sinclair as well!

Hate to say it but I still play this from time to time. Yes, it's cack but it's a bit like lots of IOS games, no substance but fun (ish) in short bursts.

I always try and see how far I can get on the skill upgrading mode and how far I can make to keeper dive towards the scoreboard....(I know, I know, sad!!!!)

And the Barry White "Goal", "Save" speech still makes me laugh
