Possible Apogee article?
Would it be possible to cover 'Apogee' in a future issue? They were very innovative in the DOS era of PC gaming(e.g. Wolfenstein, Duke Nukem, Wacky Wheels, etc.).
Re: Possible Apogee article?
It's been suggested many times so someone MUST be working on it?

I'd be all over doing something like that, if nobody else is.

Yes - Apogee feature is needed and would be more than welcomed!
I'd love to read up about the making of Duke Nukem 3D (which I have been plaing mad busy this last few days now I have it on my XBox)
Didn'Apogee have something to do with Rise of the Triad too? Had high expectations for this game and thought it was poor

Really? I thought in some ways, Rise of the Triad was better than Doom. I liked a lot of the weapons better, I liked all the traps and such, and, to be perfectly honest, I thought the music was better. Sure, the engine wasn't QUITE as fancy, and the level design started to get pretty brutal the further in you went, but still. Also, Dog Mode.

Re: Possible Apogee article?
Apogee was so big back in the days. Everybody had somewhere a shareware version of one of their games.
As also ID did they put lots of levels as a "trial" on a disc. There wasn`t even need to buy the games but the people did. ID did similar with Doom by putting a third of the original game as a demo.
We need something similar these days like Apogee. Big names which are giving some gifts to catch their fans with lots of classic games.
Raptor is already named.
