true 3d gaming on the Wii?

Looks like it won't be long before this is incorporated into a game.

That looks pretty amazing actually :D Who'd have thought the Wii would be this much of a 'revolution' hey? ;)

That's REALLY cool! Especially when he goes "behind" the front target.

It almost was already as an easter egg, but it was ripped out at the last minute after word got out.

I didn't watch the video but I guess it's one made by Johnny Chung Lee?
This lad is amazing! He did several other videos about the possibility of the Wiimote, and I wonder why Nintendo never contacted him...
That would be something if his ideas were implemented him in a game...

Looks good, but it's a bit too gimmicky for gaming (just reminds me of the Virtual Boy), plus I think it there would be some pretty strict limitations to the gameplay you could get from that. But for 3D photos/film it's a very cool idea.

Just had a thought though, it would be pretty good for FPS games, can you imagine if the next Metroid Prime used this technology? or maybe an updated REZ. So I guess if it could work like that it's potentially superb. Lawnmower Man. :)

Its perfect for FPS. I often find myself trying to look 'around' things on my monitor when playing those, unconsciously leaning to see around walls a little better etc. This makes that a reality. Wouldn't break gameplay if used subtly like that.

Nah - probably not again (More's the pity). But I reckon he'd do better now on the Wii than he did with the Jag (RIP).

Or is he an X-Box man now? LOL)
