The EA hate is a bit silly. For one they publish a lot of games for great third parties like Criterion and for two they make some great games themselves (Fifa may be a huge cash cow, but 08 and the new Euro's game are both great and beat the current pro evo offerings).

For me it is games that are already being made...
Fable 2
Ghostbusters
Gears of War 2

fair point. I hadnt thought about that. I retract about EA.
Ok then, how about Star Trek Elite Force for 360, but based on The Kirk Era.

If I may be horrifically picky, Criterion is not a 3rd party, they're owned by EA, although mostly for EA to get their hands on RenderWare.

Body Harvest 2 (a followup to DMA's original 3D sandbox adventure shooter would be a much better use of Rockstar North's talents than that GTA tat that they keep churning out)

R-Type Final 2 (well if Final Fantasy can do it...)

Outrun 2008: Pole to Pole

F-Zero DS/Wii

Fantavision HD

Rez 2

Yes, its certainly about time for a new Outrun, Outrun 2 (and later Outrun 2006) were godly.

I'd like a Star Wars game based on the original 1977 film, including first person shooter levels.

I was happy to see that a Highlander game was in development, I just hope that perhaps there will be a multi-player component that might implement my idea for a great online PvP. I doubt it will, it looks like it might be closer to Prince of Persia games, which might be a good thing if they can freshen it up a bit.

my idea from New Game Pitches thread
My idea would take a licence of Highlander, but it might work on the Wii controller. Online beheading swordfighting game in first or third person in which there could "be only one". Maps of cities with lots of NPC's, you have to sense an immortals approach through force feedback. From each kill you get a little stronger. probably some balance issues, but would be cool.

or perhaps

Diablo 3 or a new Thief game using Assassin Creed's engine.
