Just started playing Zelda: Link's Awakening on my Gameboy Color that I picked up at the car boot last week. Cant beleive its 12 years old, its fantastic. I'd rather play this than carry on with Windwaker. It's just like Link to the Past which I loved.

Big Red One and Mario Kart DS. On emulation I'm working through some of the games on the C64 joystick.

F-Zero X on the N64, True Crime: NYC on the Cube, and Mariokart DS (which is rapidly turning my thumb joints to dust and should come with a bloody health warning  )

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 4 on Gamecube. I was out Christmas shopping yesterday and happened to go past Game and there it was, sitting in the pre-owned wire basket, looking up at me saying "BUY ME! BUY ME!".... 7 goals done, only 183 to go...

Right now? Geometery Wars on the 360. Best thing on the 360 at the moment!

I'll add Need For Speed: Most Wanted (PC). Still can't fault some solid NFS racing action, no matter what guise they throw on top of it.

I've smuggled me xbox back under the mrs nose and i'll be popping on for some uninterrupted SFIII:3rd Strike slap-a-thon.

I'll be attempting to improve my way-of-the-unblockable with good old Thongboy :D

I've been playing...

Populous, Sonic & Sonic 2 on the Megadrive (emulator on XBOX).
Pikmin on Gamecube
Yoshi's Island on Gameboy Advance (don't know how I could have missed this on the SNES!)

I'm trying to get the kids interested in retro games on the Megadrive & SNES emulators. They seem to spend their time playing Sonic Adventure 2 on the Gamecube, so I figured I show them Sonic's roots on the Megadrive.

I even tried going as far back as Centipede on the 2600, but I don't think they're too interested in that one.

Damn it marjorie, I'm STILL struggling with Call of Duty (1!!!) on the Xbox. But I'm now saving myself for the PSP's imminent arrival, complete with Lumines (which better be good dammit!!). Just after Christmas, before New Year, I'll pick up a few other titles - probably Burnout, Ridge Racer, Namco Battle, possibly Mercury. So I'll be a busy donkey with those little puppies all over the festive season.

Bombjack from the Tecmo Compilation on the XBox. Alternating with Star Force from the same compilation. In fact, if I was to play Bombjack for a while, swap disks for the Capcom collection and play Commando, Vulgus and Exed Exes it would be just like being in one of the arcades I used to fritter my wages away in as a teenager. All I would need to do is strew the floor with fag ends and chewing gum and hire a mean looking bloke to stand in the corner and I would instantly be transported back twenty odd years :D
Cue the music, fade to black...
