anybody have a big gameroom...

Post by malignantpoodle » Sun Mar 19, 2006 10:03 am

that is full of old PC's or consoles? I was going to dedicate a room to my house having wall to wall vintage consoles and computers, all hooked up so that any of them could be played without having to switch wires around or anything like that.

I know there are people out there that have this done already, and while emulation makes this notion obsolete, some still want to have the hardware for notstalgic purposes.

If anyone has a setup like this I'd like to feature it on my site and maybe do a little bio just for kicks. Show me a photo or two.

There's limited room in my house, so all my gaming stuff is in my bedroom at the moment...& there's limited room there as well. So I visit my loft on a frequent basis...

hehe nice one.

I saw some guy on television that had an old computer collection. He turned his whole house into a museum basically. Shelves and shelves of various different kinds, didn't even know that many varieties were made, can't remember the programme.

In any case I want to put any pics up here on my site as a sort of gallery of retro gaming game rooms.

Mine has just been packed away as I move on Wednesday. The picture shows the unit they will go on in the new house. They are all going to be connected to 2 TVs via multi scart cables.

It was MAME'd until I broke the PC, so is just running Golfing Greats and Hypersports at the mo. Hopefully have it back running MAME in the next couple of weeks.
