New Virtual Console releases from SEGA

Post by Mad Gerald » Fri Feb 15, 2008 11:52 am

Hiya,
Not sure if you guys have seen this yet, but we released Phantasy Star II and Eternal Champions on the Wii Virtual Console today. Both are available for 800 points each.

More info (not that you guys need it) over at: http://virtualconsole.sega-europe.com/en/index.html

Cheers,
Martin

How much is 800 points in real money?

800 points from Microsoft would cost £7.50, is it any cheaper than that?

When are Live users going to get some proper Sega support? Crazy Taxi would be rather nice if you could find the time, please. And now microsoft have relented on the achievement shenanigans, couldnt you put the entire Sega back catalogue up. I reckon if you all worked the weekend could be ready to go for next Weds ;)

Rather spanking Wii releases btw, anyone that hasnt plaed PSII really should its a definate high for the series

Not when you see that Phantasy Star II is going for about £16 on eBay.

I'd like to see more games coming to XBLA - I will put your suggestions forward so tell me what you want to see.

Rez in widescreen HD is nice, but I can't help but wonder how cool it would be with the Wii controller... maybe that would make it a bit too easy though?

Where to start, here we go anyways

anything featuring Shinobi
Space Harrier or Planet Harriers (Arcade)
Powerdrift
Anything from the Phnatasy Star series
Crazy Taxi or anything from the series
VF2/VF3
Virtua Racing
Virtual On
any of the M1/M2 driving games
Any of the H.O.T.D and Virtua Cop series, online co op would be awesome, I know the 360 doesnt have a wand, you must have loads of the old Saturn and DC light guns kicking about, just mod em :)
Airbike Cop
Afterburner
Altered Beast
JSR/JSRF
Anything from the Panzer Dragoon franchise
Baku Baku Animal Arcade or Sat
Decathalete
Alex Kid
Arabian Fight
Congo Bongo
Quartet
Scramble Spirits
Zaxxon
Thunderblade
Wonder Boy Any
Cool Riders
Cotton
Fighting Vipers, Or Fighters remix

Sega have a massive array of arcade games from the beginning to the end, same with console games, let us play them again, please. Much as I love these games to death, I have no intention of buying 3 or 4 formats to be able to experience them all.

the list goes on and on, remember there are a lot of gamers out there that dont have a Wii or any intention of getting one, I still dont understand Sega's lack of multi format releases, but hey ho.

right im off to get the limit on my credit card increased, so I can download this lot on Weds.

I would really like to see Powerdrift, but especially Daytona or/and Scud Race with online support on XBLA. That would be something else! 8)
