what games have eaten away the most hours...
for me at least (a self confessed game addict starting with arcade space invaders up untill present day, oh and i do the unofficial hiscore.dat for mame as well !!!)
1.elite (c64) - bad time to get this game start of summer hols, must have played it for up to 6 hours each day for 2 months and then played it for weekly intervals for a LONG time and for many years - get a life i hear you all screem...
2. lemmings 2 (amiga) - the thing with this was that i HAD to finish the game properly ie. getting gold medals for EVERY stage... that took time... lots of time...
3. dungeon master (amiga) - from start to the killing of the last boss took weeks, but 4-6 hours at a time.
4. super mario 64 & zelda (n64) - the only games i really played to death on the nintendo 64
others include cannon fodder,kick-off,eye of the beholder... but never for as long as the above 4 games.

Both excellent games though

Re:
Yeah Fantasies probably was better but I think I spent more time on Dreams. The A1200 game Pinball Illusions was probably better than either of them........paranoid marvin wrote:I preferred Pinball FantasiesMrH wrote:Used to spend hours, sorry days playing "Pinball Dreams" on the Amiga.......

I got that beat 41 hours!!!! but Revenge is only about 5,hmmmmmmmm.merman wrote:According to my Xbox, I have spent just over 24 hours playing Burnout 3 since I got it...
I would say:
FF 7 120
FF 8 80
FF 9 80
FF 10 60
Zelda (all games SNES upwards) 150 +
Secret of Mana = 100 + hours
FF Tactics (PS1) 100
FF Tactics advance 85
Xenogears = 80
BF2 = 103
BF + DC = 99
BFNam = 105
CS (all versions) = 300 + hours (does not make me good at the though)
As you can see I like to play a lot of long games.
