FACT.
Robbo.
No, thats bollox IMO

I much prefer the earlier versions, I like sensible world of, but just not as much as sensible soccer
I love this arguement, and it never gets boring either!
Sorry but IMO SWOS is the king of footy games and to suggest it's earlier incarnations are better is indeed 'bollox'
All said and done, ANY Sensi version whoops the arse off Kick Off poo.

I loved both games but I would have to agree with the guy who said he preferred Kick Off 2 for 2-player games and SWOS for 1-player.
For me Kick Off 2 had more depth to it as it was very difficult unless you practised for a while. Sensi was easy to play from the off which is why it was so popular, but after a while I'd say it got a bit samey. When SWOS came out though, it took it to a new level and gave it the depth it was lacking.
At a push I'd say Kick Off 2 edges it........

Sensi, Sensi, Sensi.........all the way.
I loved Kick Off 2 + expansions but found it a bit harder than sensi.

It would have to be SENSI for me, although my only experience of Kick Off 2 is on the C64 which is censored, so I may be slightly biased having played Sensi on many formats....

Kick Off on C64 was a totally different game (horizontal rather than vertical for a start!)-you had to play the Amiga Version
Sensi was also best when playing on Amiga

Kick Off 2 hammered any version of Sensi , let`s be real here , sensi was a copy of KO2 . The ball mechanics / dynamics whatever , were so superior in KO2 . All sensi did was to give a more stable game than KO2 ( which crashed in various ways ) but it never came anywhere near it`s wonderful unpredictability ( if that`s a word

) Dino was / is a genius , though * Goal * was perhaps a little flawed
I`m drunk , but it`s still true

Kick Off was horizontal on the C64, but Kick Off 2 wasn't, which is the game he was talking about. However, The Last Ginja was also stunningly accurate in describing the C64 conversion as "censored". It had even more bugs than the Amiga original (including an absolute clanger that stuck the score at a maximum of 9). A horrible, horrible game.

Sorry,I assumed he was talking about Kick Off 1
I didn't know there was a KIck Off 2 for C64
It would have been interesting though to see Sensi on the
C64-I reckon it would have been capable of producing a decent game

Get hold of the Sega Master System version sometime, it's actually very good and is probably the nearest thing you'll see to a c64 one.

In many ways, Microprose Soccer on the C64 is the ancestor of Sensi...
