Apologies if this has been done to death already - couldn't see any polls putting these two bohemoths head-to-head. Not sure if this debate was ever settled way back in the day.
Anyway, with this being a World Cup year, it's vaguely relevant!
Cheers,
Andy

Although I spent many hours playing both games, I'd have to stick my cap in the "Kick Off 2"... err... thing!

It's the more realistic game for me. I like the way you can smack a long range effort against the bar/post and it's completely random whether it ends up in the net or rattles back into play or even hits the back of the keeper and trickles over the line! In Sensi, it always bounces back into play at either 0 or 90 degrees!
I've got an ST and although KO2 looks much more primitive than the Amiga version, it seems to play better. Also, the goals are about half the width on the ST so it's a real challenge to score. One gripe about KO2 is the goalies... they're very difficult to beat and they slide for yards when they dive to make a save!
Sensi's good points... it's very satisfying to ping a sweet cross in and plant a spectacular diving header on the end of it, only for the keeper to get a finger tip to it and turn it round the post!

Kick Off 2 on the ST for me. The only good footy game since Matchday II.
Sensi was good for a quick blast, but doesn't have that long term appeal.
I prefered the 'Next Goal Wins' demo I got on an Amiga mag for that very rason.

Actually we Irish have our own version of football too
My apologies though. I say soccer to distinguish the two.

Normally I'd agree but in this case I think "Sensible Soccer" rolls off the tounge better than "Sensible Football" so I'm glad they went with that title.
I preferred Sensible Soccer over Kick Off 2. In truth I was a bit rubbish at Kick Off 2 so that's probably why.

Football is censored! Fact!
BUT
I have to admit - Sensi Soccer is a fantastic 2 player laugh. So I vote Sensi.

Best footy game ever. Bar none.
Proof: It's so good, even the Mrs likes it. Nuff said!
