Commodore 16

Post by marioman » Tue Jan 01, 2008 12:29 pm

As a C16 owner as a youngster i spent many hours playing great games on it. Two of my favorites were Monty On The Run and Mr Puniverse. Both platform games and very addictive to play.

I was wondering two things?

1. What other great games for the C16 do you remember playing?

2. Why hasn't Retro Gamer covered anything on the C16 that i can remember?

I'm glad to see another C16 user on here!

My favourite games on the C16:

Formula 1 Simulator (see my comparison in the 8-bit game comparison thread)
Football Manager
Tutti Frutti
Big Mac
XZap
(was distributed free with the C16)
Bomb Jack (in my opinion - THE BEST home version ever)
Alien Attack
Frank Bruno's Boxing

There's probably loads more too - but this is all I can remember at the mo. I'm gonna have to dig the C16 out of the loft.

I've been asking for this since the forum begun! I've always wanted to see one - I also wanted to read the C16 article in the Retro Fusion mag but missed that issue and now can't find it anyway.
Once RG have done a really good retroinspection on the C16, my life will be complete

You should PM Boyo, I'm sure he still has issues left.

Just recently, I've been playing C16 versions of Voidrunner and Trailblazer. Both very good games.

I trust you know about this website?
