I have the XBLA version and that was the 1st time I played it. I bloody love it.
If you're buying it for a collection then I'd say no don't get it because it's not complete. If it's not and you just want to play it then the best option is XBLA. Unless you have a PSP then get Dracula X chronicles and it's an unlockable on there along with Rondo.

It does include the soundtrack... but I think I'll follow the advice of the majority here...
Instead, I'll buy Vib Ribbon & Time Crisis (with the gun, FACTORY SEALED! lo) for even less...
Thanks for the advice!
And if you ever find the game on ebay for less, please tell me!

In the worst case scenario, I'll grab it off the XBLA... The main idea is still to enjoy the game... and if it's not physically in my collection, well, it's not that big a deal. I have other great titles...

I got this game when collecting the Top 100 Edge games,
I think I paid about £70 in mint condition with artbook, cd etc.
When I was looking there was about 3 or 4 on ebay all going for the same money. As with a lot of games, they are only worth as much as someone is willing to pay, sometimes you get lucky on ebay, sometimes it seems that everyone wants the same game, lol.

I bought a copy when it came out on the PS1 with art book and everything. And I really didn't get into it. Even the music CD was naff. The art was good mind. Still, after 10 years of ownership and never having been bothered to play it more than about 4 times I sold it this year for £70.

if only I had bought 200,000 copies at the time, I would have been rich.

I may be wrong, but it's a bad idea as a collector to invest in something that isn't complete. And I assume you're a collector, simply since no sane gamer would pay that much for one game just to play it, especially since there are so many ports for it (Saturn, PSP, Dreamcast, XBLA).
It's a great game, and a collector's item at that, but an incomplete edition is not worth fifty quid at all.

137sepsis' blog. Check it out.
I got mine for a couple of quid out of a bargin bin a few months after it was released.
It was in the bargin Bin because it is a poor, boring, frustrating and dull game that no-one wanted at the time.
If you want to play it again you could go for the expensive version (V/download) or just grab the rom off the net and play it on your PSP..

I disagree, it wasn't 3D so everyone avoided it, including myself. It's a great game. The End.Opa-Opa wrote:I got mine for a couple of quid out of a bargin bin a few months after it was released.
