Yeah I am. Good to see a fellow bear on the forum
There is a great game in MAME - I can't remember the name of it - it is a shooter played on a single screen, and you are a gangster type guy, and you can dive over sofas and barrels and stuff.
Wish I knew what it was called.
Also try:
WWF Wrestlefest
Windjammers

Most likely it's because you haven't downloaded the konamigx.zip rom. Some games require the bios rom of the system as well to be able to load.Seraph wrote:haha. Anyone had a go at Sexy Parodious? can't seem to get it working.......
Recomendations? Try:
progear.zip
3wonders.zip
mslug.zip *
kof98.zip *
guwange.zip
sfa3.zip
* also requires neogeo.zip
Do i place the file in the Roms folder (MAME32 V102b)?Kaede wrote:Most likely it's because you haven't downloaded the konamigx.ziprom. Some games require the bios rom of the system as well to be able to load.Seraph wrote:haha. Anyone had a go at Sexy Parodious? can't seem to get it working.......

I could go on. I'm not one for using MAME extensively. I've always used it to try games I'm interested in getting to have an idea of how much I want the games before buying.

I can't get enough of it. After I got my new supergun I had to get the game (I'm a huge Marvel fan). Its my favorite arcade beat em up. The difficulty is really balanced, no real cheap attacks like in other games in the genre and the inclusion of lots of brutal weapons (Axes, grenades, assault rifles) added to its charm.GovanGer wrote:Neo Bomberman
The Punisher (Man, The Punisher is AWESOME....)

For quick reference here is a list of mame bios files required for various systems with the system name and the rom filename.
They need to remain zipped and be placed in the rom folder, just like game roms. Mame will look for the relevant bios automatically when trying to run a particular system so thats all you need to do.
Bios are subject to copyright the same as roms so cannot be linked or pointed to from these boards.
Anyway, hope this helps:

Bonebreaker? The half Human, Half Tank boss (level 3, the waterfront)GovanGer wrote:The weapons in The Punisher are great.
Plus you get to fight a guy in some sort of Robot Wheelchair.
Awesome, really good boss, as a side note he also appeared in the X-men arcade game from Konami. Though there he was a smaller enemy in the last couple of levels and not a huge boss.

Think I know the game you're on about, can't remember the name of it though. May have been played in retroleague in a past season.GovanGer wrote:There is a great game in MAME - I can't remember the name of it - it is a shooter played on a single screen, and you are a gangster type guy, and you can dive over sofas and barrels and stuff.
