Some sort of hint would be nice. There's a lot of similar-looking games but none seems to be it, it's really near impossible to find out what it is without any hint.

Here are some hints for those that are stumped.

- The game is available for CPC (screenied), C16, Plus/4 and C64
- The character you play as is also the title of the game and is visible in that screenie
- The object of the game is to rescue your queen
- It was a budget game, released in 1983/84.

[EDIT] Spelling.

Those are good clues - a bit of googling suggests it's Fire Ant?

Great!

This one shouldn't be too difficult (I hope!):

Hmmm - thought someone would snap this up!

Clue in a day or two if not - I won't let this go on too long.

My first thought was that it was Yolanda. Then I thought it might be Cutthroat Island. But then I thought "Soddit! Let's go and have a nice cup of tea"... ;)

Sinbad and the Throne of the Falcon. Would have never guessed without hint, even though I like to explore Cinemaware's games.

This probably won't be easy at all so here are two mega hints - it was published by Team 17 and came out only on DOS.

World Rally Fever. Got it without the Team 17 clue too!

A work colleague and I used to play games [ahem] while on night duty and two that we loved were WRF and the 3D realms Kart game Whacky Wheels.

I'm pretty sure that it's WRF, so another from me -
