Worse Final Boss Ever?

I'm going for this

And yes, I've never ever forgiven Sega for making me fork out for this game, the ending was the biggest insult. Now think back to the first time you ever reached the end on the first two games...... compare it with this

Some of my least favorites:

Final boss of Sonic The Hedgehog for the Xbox 360 and the PS3 - Looked horrible and played horrible. Weird because the respective bosses for Silver, Sonic and Shadow were good

Igniz - KOF 2001: Many of SNKs bosses got annoying around 2001 and this guy is the worst. Its the only AI in a fighting game I've ever seen to use an infinite combo (same move over and over) to beat me

Cyborg - Death and Return of Superman: Wow, haven't I fought you as the boss for the last 5 levels?

Arcade - Spiderman and the Xmen: Crap end to a crap game. the end

For me it's the last guy in Rockstars Warriors ("Warriors, come out to play..!")

It's not so much the final boss himself it's the way which the fight is done.
You spend the whole game with pretty much total freedom to explore your suroundings as you wish, over roofs, fences, walls, hiding in dark corners etc and then on the last guy you are told that your bloke can't even walk over a bit of sand to punch this tw@t in the face, you instead have to throw bricks and bottles at the guy who is shooting at you from a distance and it completely ruins the whole game.

Great game, rubbish end boss!

If you want an example of modern end of game boss let downs, the Cyberdemon from Doom3 is patheticly easy to beat. Basically, you fight him in a doughnut shaped arena, and use the soul cube to take him out, He's realy slow so getting extra kills to top your soul cube up via the imps that come out of a pit in the middle of the arena is easy.
Bring back Thingy and Rockford!!! Zzap 64 liberation front!!! :):):)

Indeed he does... during the video part. I believe that every scene from the movie is in the game, with a whole lot of extra scenes that really feel like they should have been in the movie. Playing through The Warriors is like experiencing a super-extended director's cut of the movie combined with a totally kickass action game.

In case you can't tell, I like this game.

M.Bison on Street Fighter Alpha 3 (a.k.a. Street Fighter Zero 3)

He pulls off that 'SUPER' Psycho Crusher - which eradicates two thirds of your energy bar - BASTARD!!!

Blues in Yie Ar Kung Fu - after noting down each previous opponents' distinct and predictable fighting style, and beating them, along comes this b@st@rd and kicks you to death. Never beat him.

I'm in a bad mood now.

At just the exact time you are about to lay a smackdown on him! Suddenly your hopes (and energy bar) are destroyed!
He caught me off guard many times with that damn move, now I learned to play more defensively to block it most times (even that takes off enough health!)

I'm going with Willy in Double Dragon 1 & 2. Not a BAD enemy (a bit nothing really), but here we have a big gun toting maniac covered in armor & they called him WILLY???

I liked Bioshock up until the final part. Yes the boss battle was pants.
But the award has to go to HL2's final "boss" (which isn't even a proper boss).
