Capcom has released a load more screens of SSF2THD (that title keeps getting longer!) here:
http://the-magicbox.com/0803/game080313c.shtml

I'd like to see more than just Ken and Ryu but some of those Backgrounds look stunning (Fei Longs is my Fav).

Here are some vids of the game in action, again average Ryu Vs Ken bouts:

Some new Street Fighter 4 news from the latest location test last week:

http://youtube.com/watch?v=JfQxtCipMyA

Video of one of the new characters El Fuerte, who is looking rather interesting from a gameplay point of view. He's supposed to be really speedy.
Also, a couple of pictures of him:
http://the-magicbox.com/0804/game080411a.shtml
Yes, he is holding a frying pan in 1 picture (He's a cook apparantly)

Capcom also revealed one more new character, the blob known as Rufus:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=lrSJizZtIZA&feature=related

He looks... interesting. From the location test reports he didn't sound all to useful yet but we'll have to wait and see if Capcom will tweak him further.

Capcom also revealed 2 more returning characters. Vega (Claw) and M.Bison (Psycho Crusher) which brings the returning characters to 12 (the 8 world warriors and the 4 bosses).

The new characters all look a bit "meh" to me, apart from Crimson Viper, who is definately an SNK inspired creation

Blanka's animation looks amazing.

Yet ANOTHER game featuring the stero-typical Lucha Libre Mexican Wrestler! There are many, but don't forget King/ArmourKing were the first!!

I agree with the animation. Blanka, Honda and Zangief all have really nice flowing animations. As for the new characters Abel is my favorite of the 4 so far, like you said he reminds me of an SNK design (I though Geese was in SF4 at first!)

As for (Armour) King being the first Lucha Libre Mexican wrestler, well Capcom did have one a few years before in their game Saturday Night Slam Masters game called El Stingray:

You are right.

I was actually getting confused and meant in a 3D game, which isn't exactly true of SFIV.

Small SF4 update, finally official pictures of the 4 SF2 bosses have been released:
http://capcom-town.es/2008/04/26/primer ... ighter-iv/

Really like Bison's design, the other 3 all look pretty cool as well. There is also a video in the above link which shows off a little bit of Bison but is very poor quality. Hopefully better videos will show up soon.

Video of Sagat Vs El Fuete, Sagats Ultra attack looks awesome (and powerful!).

Although it isn't really any surprise Capcom has confirmed that Street Fighter 4 is to be released on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC later this year.

I've only heard Ken's theme and Ryu's theme, Kens is awesome, Ryus is frankly a touch sucky.

I'm hoping most fall towards the awsome end, if not my workmate is working on remixing the snes tunes, so I'll use that as a custom soundtrack

Possible Boss character 'Seth' who has striking resemblance to Urien and Gill, he's even performing Urien's Chariot Tackle move in the pic as well ^_^

I thought the tackle had quite a resembulance to Uriens, nice to see I'm not the only one who thought that! I would be surprised if he is the boss as I full well expected Bison to be the boss (again...) I wonder if Capcom have any new characters left to show us?

The game looks great I hope this flyer is not going to be the basis of the cover art as Ryu looks kind of strange.

Lucky you! How does the game play/flow in relation to past SF games?
