Retro games that need the Wii treatment

Post by nwosteve » Wed Sep 19, 2007 11:38 am

What retro games would have been great if they had had wireless controls a la the Wii? How about Street Fighter for a start?

Suggestions?

Hyper-Sports and Track & Field, your arm would be aching for days after though.

Not retro but FIFA!!!!

I'd love to see how Nintendo will do a soccer game on the Wii. At least in keeping with the realistic aspects of other sports games (using the controller as golf clubs, tennis racquets, bowling balls, boxing gloves).

Strap your controller to your feet and kick it around?

How about Smash TV. You could have a controller in both hands (one doing directions for moving, one for the firing directions).

I think Pong should get the Wii treatment - It'd be funnt to see how it gets implemented.

Another suggestion would be Street Fighter II - but I could see Nintendo getting sued for the amount of injuries received by players as they beat each other with a Wii-mote

not a game but don't you think Nintendo should bring back the Power Glove for the Wii?
