Max Payne 1 or 2 I think would translate nicely into movies personally. Dunno who'd play a good Max though.

Are you being sarcastic?? I think a film of GTA would go against everything that the game tries to be! GTA in my (very very insignificant) opinion, IS an open ended movie, so putting it on the big screen would kill what makes it great.........
Id still probably go and watch it though!

Final Fantasy VII. A proper film of the games story.

Bioshock is probably the closest to a film that I've actually played.
The plot twists are as good as many films.
Resident Evil - I quite like the first couple but I really wanted them to re-create
the original's mansion setting and make it an 18 rating.
FFVII would be good as it would save me from playing all the way through it!
Chrono Trigger's story would also make for a great fantasy movie.

I may be in the minority, but I think Gears of War will make a good film.

I found playing through the game much much easier than sitting through FFVII Advent Children!

I enjoyed Advent Children!
Although I will admit I couldn't tell you what the story was.
I was just amazed at the quality of the CGI.
Nothing I've seen since has surpassed it.
