think your the greatest

And in South Korea, there are professional gamers there doing it for a living. I saw a report on this & they also help out in running servers for different games by participating + being administrators to ensure fair gaming. Maybe as we play games for a hobby we are good at certain games, however in competition against a prof gamer we would be down and out in no time.Beef wrote:There's always someone better then you at a game. They're probably in Japan, playing the game right now and will keep doing so for hours... every day.

I bet I'm the best at Hatris ...mainly because I'm probably the only person who plays it.

Absolutely nothing. Mediocrity across the board.

Or ZSNES with the built in netplay. I used to love playing battlemode over the net. And zbattle: http://www.zbattle.net/ is good for finding people to play with. The Last Ginja wrote: SNES9x emu with the Kalleira client......

Puyo Puyo (arcade) and Super Puyo Puyo (snes) can beat the CPU and everyone I know, every time....and it gets f**king quick on the later levels.
Used to be able to beat everyone I played at Tekken 2, I'm pretty good with Time Pilot, although not as good as I used to be, I struggle to break wave 3 (300,000 point barrier) nowadays.
Age of Empires II don't think I ever lost an online battle.
I was also pretty groovy with the 16 bit racers like SMK etc....and Wipeout 2097 on the PS1....and.......I'm bored of this game now.

Used to think I was "pretty hot" at the Mega Drive Sonic games - when the Mega Collection came out, there was TWO people watching me play it in HMV!
That's until I discovered speedruns, and realized I was actually fairly crap. Ah well.

Nothing and I wouldnt want to be....
I playgames for a bit of a laugh , seeing my son play pap like halo and he just wipes the floor with everyone - it makes me proud and sad at the same time - he is a very good gamer...but will it buy me a retirement cottage in the middle of nowhere?
Lets hope eh?
