Spotted a gaming bargain? Share it here

Post by kiniki » Mon Aug 13, 2007 4:45 am

This thread isn't for saying you found one at a boot sale. Its for sharing cheap stuff you've found so that others can take advantage of it.

Obviously if you've found a one off bargain that you must grab... keep it to yourself.

Maybe a shop is selling something at a really low price, or you've seen something on ebay which is a great deal but you're not going for it so you could let us know about it.

For anyone who has a gamecube/wii I cannot recommend Eternal Darkness enough, for me its like Resident Evil with much better controls and afar more deep and engaging story. Anyway, spotted it selling at CEX shops for £5 which is a steal! If there's not a CEX near you you might be able to pick it up online at www.cex.co.uk

Thats it for me for now... So anyone else? Share away!

How's this for a bargain... my Uncle has given me his "Fire" and "Octopus" Game & Watches, in immaculate condition! 8) Says he doesn't want any money for them, but I feel compelled to give him some cash for them.

The best part is that these are the very same G&W's I used to play when we went to visit 20-odd years ago, now I get to keep them.

This site is pretty good for bargains. Most of them aren't related to games but the odd one does crop up.

Blockbusters: Xbox: Panzer Dragoon Orta - £7.99, Outrun 2006 - £7.99, Chronciles Of Riddick which is considered to be the best game on the Xbox - £7.99. With all 3 at the same price, they do the offer where you can get them for the price of 2.
Game: Xbox: Shenmue 2, for some a good offer, others a rip off - £12.99. PS2: Killer 7 - £4.99. PC: F.E.A.R. provided you have a good spec PC - £5.99.

Not exactly mega bargains, but for me its good games you can buy if you are the type that does not like or cannot afford to pay for full price on new ones.

Anybody who wants a Saturn that might go for cheap 'cos the spool claims it's a 'Saga' Saturn. Who knows, it could be, and be worth millions of pounds  . Anyway, he says he has games, so e-mail him and find out what they are, can't see this lot going for much.

ASDA have a lot of 360 titles at under £18.
They're not all great titles or even new (Vampire Rain being the newest I think) but still cheap enough to fill a few holes in your collection.
Think I'll pick up Hitman.
