Berzerk!

Post by LittleAlex2007 » Tue Jul 24, 2007 5:16 am

Does anyone know where i can download/play a java or similar version of this original game?

I have tried:

Norbert's Emulator Software: JAE - Berzerk at:

http://web.utanet.at/nkehrer/JBerzerk.html

but it doesn't work!

Any ideas - feeling serious withdrawal/nostalgia symptoms...!

Cheers!

Played it recently in the JAMMA+ MAME league, it always sticks in my memory because of the speech...

I can't get the sound to work properly on my Mame version. But, it plays slick as always. Also one of the most accurate arcade ports ever put on the Atari 2600.

In fact, here's a couple of treats for you guys...

Also worth tracking down TOBOR on the speccy, something very addictive about it, not arcade standard but good none the less

I agree. The 2600 version is quite good (even without the speech). Nothing beats the arcade version for me though. Frenzy, the sequel, is also fun.
