What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Mass effect and Assassins creed on the 360 , had a quick look at mass effect - seems deeper than the usual game i go for.

Quite fancy that guitar hero 3 with the wireless guitar , are the others any good ?

What more did you want than

MXC is a first-class professional product. It's our collective opinion that if it had had been released back in the GBA's prime MXC would have been a top seller - and it's an exceptional title compared to the avalanche of licensed dross the machine has suffered in the last couple of years. Even with a Â£20 price tag this would be easily the best game of its type on the GBA and the bargain-price of free makes it an essential addition to your collection. If DHG organised the production of a Â£15 homebrew cart I'd personally be the first in line to buy a copy

This was of course written before you could buy it for half that.

Guitar Hero III on the Wii

What a GREAT game! Loving it - but my 8yr old son is REALLY struggling with pressing buttons, strumming and watching the screen at the same time

Street Fighter EX 3 (PS2) and Soul Calibur 2 (PS2)

Both superb games - I've never player SFEX3 before but it's rather good considering the previous 3D Street Fighter games.

As for Soul Calibur 2 - I already have this on the cube but wanted the PS2 version as well for the different platform-specific character.

EX3 always got a lot of undue flack, the games nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be. Granted its not amazing but its still fun and playable.
That said I managed to stumble on a Japanese copy last year and the difference in speed is really noticeable, made me enjoy it all over again!
