Seems overpriced to me, for the few times I need it, I'd rather have an actual keyboard.

Re: new stuff
Take that Gamestation indeed! Almost as good a bargain as when I bought a spectrum 128k plus 130 tapes on Ebay for £5.50.sscott wrote:Beat this. Went to Hathersage (in peaks) Car boot today and picked up a sega saturn + 2 games, Mega Drive II + 1 game plus 1 first gen and 1 pocket GB, all for...£2. I kid you not! All work.
Take that Gamestation!

All MS add ons are overpriced, but the quality is supeb. Backlit, nice sized keyed and when attached it looks like it is built in rather than added on.Dudley wrote:<the xbox 360 messenger keyboard> Seems overpriced to me, for the few times I need it, I'd rather have an actual keyboard.
I use Messenger a lot and I often didn't play on the 360 because I couldn't respond using the joypad. So for me it is a godsend.

Yeah I don't use MSN and you can respond to xbox live messages on the xbox live site so I guess my likely usage is considerably less.SirClive wrote:All MS add ons are overpriced, but the quality is supeb. Managed to score quite a few games last weekend including the following Sega Master System and Gamegear games:
Aerial Assault (GameGear)
The Jungle Book (GameGear)
Sagaia
Xenon 2 Megablast
Dead Angle
Alien Storm
After Burner
Zillion
Line of Fire
Hang On
Submarine Attack
Time Soldiers
Rescue Mission
Secret Command
Impossible Mission
Spellcaster
All were 99p Buy 1 get 1 free so I ended up picking up a load of SMS games for next to nothing!
Also got Snake Rattle N Roll and A Boy and his Blob both boxed and in good condition (BOGOF) as well as Metal Gear Ac!d 2 which GAME was selling off for 4.98 for some strange reason. It is complete with the 3D glasses and everything. It had a chip in the game, but I replaced the case so it is as good as new.
Lastly I stopped by Morrisons and used £20 worth of money off tokens and got Super Paper Mario and Bioshock for £40 (SPM rocks, need to start Bioshock but I love the demo)
As if that wasn't enough, yesterday this arrived for me:

Since I'm an enormous Megaman fanatic I have to have all my Megaman games boxed with manuals in good condition, and the Gamegear version is near impossible to find with the manual and even harder to find it boxed. In the end I found a copy though, wasn't cheap but its a great (and damn tough!) game.

Great price, I got a PC engine Duo earlier in the year for Castlevania and its a fantastic machine. I've been meaning to get SF2 CE as well as the port looks fantastic. Easily better than the megadrive version.sonic91 wrote:Just this second bought a japanese PC Engine with Street Fighter II: Champion Edition on Ebay for £30 inc. postage! A real steal if you ask me!
Might want to get a 6 button pad though!
Anyway I've managed to get copies of Dracula X for the Snes (hope I enjoy this one) and Battle Garegga for the Saturn (spent all last night playing it, its really addictive and only cost £38 which is a bargain price!)
I've also got a new Nes on the way as my old PAL Nes plays my USA games really bad (50hz Megaman 5 sucks), hopefully the region free mod will work and my PAL games will run faster than before (I hope)
