Agreed. I picked up a minty Tomb Raider Legend today for a £1. Nothing special about that you might say, except there was an official PS2 memory card in the case, too :D
the best time was about 2 years ago when the likes of game still have a decent selection, ow theres next to nothing and carboots are full of sports titles

Oddly enough I would agree that 2 years ago was better. When I was getting the collection together there was an abundance and variety. Now its basically most of the same titles everywhere - most of which should be bargain bin stuff at 10p instead of taking up shelf space at £2 and above.

Got these from the local market. Total spend £7. PS2 games were 50p each and Shadow Dancer and Dracula cart came to £5. SD doesnt have a manual so will be hunting for one

It seems PS2 is now the bargain system of choice and with the vast, vast amount of games available will probably continue for some time yet.

PoP:SoT, Clayfighter 63 1/3, tetris worlds.

Prince of persia: sands of time is probably the only 3d platformer i enjoy, havent played clayfighter yet, tetris worlds is good but having a story for tetris is weird.

Agreed - I cant comment on how things were two years ago, however I've picked up 20 games for £20 in the last week or so - and £5 of that was P&P.

Whether I'll have time to play them is another matter!

Bought some extra filler in my PSP collection - £1 each wasnt so bad

Monster Hunter Freedom Unite
B-Boy
Juiced Eliminator
Dave Mirra
Passport to Rome (sealed)
Hot Wheels Ultimate racing.

Really uninspiring in general but at a squid a pop it certainly takes my collection numbers up. Never really enjoyed MH but i may give it another go.

IK+ on the Amiga and C64 were the ultimate versions. The GBA got a replica, although thats hard to find (although it sits nicely instead on my EZ FLash IV :-p)

I do actually own the "revamped" version though, which doesn't feel as good. The pre-rendered backgrounds seem a bit cheap, and like the kind of stock pictures you'd find on a new mobile phone as samples.
