Just took delivery of a SNES. The one I got in a trade almost fifteen years ago decided to give up the ghost, so In finally decided to replace it. £30 for an unyellowed console with a couple of pads and some extra adapters (which I've yet to figure out the function of) seemed a OK deal.

Last week I found The 11th Hour for PC in a charity shop. Just the jewel case, all 4 discs and instructions (so no big box) but I thought I'd give it a go anyway. Hopefully it'll work on my XP laptop with no problems but we'll see. Was only a couple of quid anyway.

Went a bit mad on a codemasters trip at the weekend and got

PS3

Race Driver: Grid
Dirt
Dirt 2
Dirt 3
Dirt : Showdown.

all in CEX for £39.

Whilst I was paying I spied behind the counter :

Two Worlds Collectors Edition for 360 for £10.

So I bought that too. Really nice condition.

Just got a PCMCIA transfer kit for my Amiga, mouse mat and a SD hard drive adapter to replace the old 2,5" drive. Only, my A1200 failed about 10 days ago, and the only store that still repairs them in my city just told me that it's not repairable :( so now I have the new hardware but no Amiga to mount it on... :( needless to say, I'm already looking on eBay etc for (at least) a "new" A1200...

Battlefront 2 is worth quite a bit on ebay isn't it? I have to admit that I always check for copies when I see original Xbox games  . It's one that I used to pass by but now that I actively check, I only ever seem to spot the original Battlefront :)

Not sure it will be much use to you in Italy but this on Retro Fusion made me think of you.

Thanks! I did not know about that... I've already bought an A1200 on eBay from the UK and I'm monitoring another auction, but this is interesting too :D

Got a couple of artbooks this morning: the Fire Emblem Awakening one was first and it's good but I was disappointed at how thin it was and the fact that it doesn't even include all of the characters. It's nice enough though.

Then I got the Yusuke Kozaki Illustrations book. He's the guy who did the character art for the No More Heroes games so it's got some stuff from the first game as well as other work of his. I like :)
