Picked up 'Extreme Tokyo Racing', PS 2 for £2.99 from my Oxfam in Manchester, was really pleased as I dropped off some of my old books and was pleasantly surprised to see this. It was near mint condition too, which is an added bonus. The graphics are kind of old school, but the game play is very addictive, really good game.

Ah, glad you've been enjoying it, had a feeling you would. :)

And was a bit worried that you'd come after me with an axe if you didn't (re: our conversation on PSN on Friday  )

It's a short but very sweet game, well worth experiencing and experiencing again afterwards.

First retro game purchase in a long, long time.

Had to be a fighting game of course!

Anyway, no consoles this week but got a network adapter for my ps2 yesterday.
Got the HDD in and running. :)
Is this the same network adapter that was included with Twisted Metal?

Not counting the Game haul - as that's currently up to about 70 games and three consoles and is still growing - but today I popped into a local charity shop and picked up a little job lot...

2 loose Game Gear games
3 loose Commodore 64 games
81 boxed Commodore 64 games

£20!

Going to take some sorting and no doubt some of them will be popping up cheap in my sales / trades thread as I don't want all of them but it's a pretty good little bundle... even if there was the obligatory copy of the Designer's Pencil and Adrian Mole!

Few nice bits there Dan. XGRA in particular is a tricky little game to find. Is Last Window any good? There's been a copy in our local Crack Convertors for weeks. I keep picking it up and putting it down.
