That's a great haul there. :D

I don't suppose you'd like to sell me TMNT 2: Battle Nexus, would you? I still need that one.

This week I scored Intellivision Lives, Midway Arcade Treasures and an Atari compilation for PS2.

Also, (not exactly retro but) I picked up NHL 08 and NBA 08 for PS3.
And this bird you'll never change...

Loved the first two games, hated Driv3r with an intense passion and felt a bit 'meh' towards Parallel Lines but this new game looks really fun. Plus the 1969 Dodge Charger is one of my dream cars so it's even harder to resist the model of it that comes packed with the CE...
I might push you over the edge with these next pics then!

I unboxed it just for you lot. ;)

Very nice model. Nice touch; the newspapers blowing over the car have the original Driver cover printed on them!
Curse you :) . How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking? My usual online go-to (Play.com) want 60 notes for this CE and as nice as it is, I'm not sure I can justify quite that amount...
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

I got it for about £52 on my discount, so still quite steep.

I'd imagine it'll probably drop quite quickly assuming it doesn't sell out. I just didn't want to chance it.

Brilliant deal, cracking game. The commentator seems to think fouls committed anywhere on the pitch should be given as penalties. I hit a questionable challenge with Gazza on the half way line. The commentator was screaming for a spot kick.

Best 5p you could wish to spend - only two N64 games in my local, and they're priced up at £4.99 and £9.99!

A few more £1 PS2 games from Blockbuster:

Prisoner Of War
Need For Speed Carbon
Mark Davis Pro Bass Challenge (like fishing games, like Natsume games, it's a win-win situation) :D
Tokyo Xtreme Racer

I got a similar deal for 2 SNES games (nothing exciting, 2 sports games); 1p each. Plus, I got DVD cases with them (the backing they were cellotaped against) so I thought, hey, why not?

Interesting...! If I remember rightly think I bought a minty new Blockids sealed in Poundstretcher for about two quid a few years back - just searched on eBay and there was indeed no results for that at all...

Nice joblot of Saturn bits and bobs turned up for me yesterday. Virtua Cop 2 with two light guns (one of which can also be used on the Playstation as well), a second controller, Olympic Soccer, and 'Hi Octane' which I've never heard of but looks like a cracking little racer from the screenshots - look forward to having a bash at that. And of course another copy of Sega Rally!
