Intellivision from my local car boot for a fiver.

Popped into my local retro store on the way home and picked up a copy of Tron Deadly Discs to test it out with. It works perfectly and is really clean and tidy as well. I'm well chuffed.

It's now added to the line up of systems for the Retro Computer Games Festival.

I find it odd when stuff like this is found.

My mate bought a JP copy of Unlimited Saga for £1 a few weeks back. He gave it to me which was nice. Awful game though.

I know what you mean. I picked up a boxed copy of Starfox for the SNES from a car boot the other day. I only noticed after I got it home that it was a US copy.

My Nintendo game bit tool finally arrived the other day, weeks late and mangled up in the post with an apology letter from Royal Mail.

I managed to open both my N64's up and switch the motherboards over with ease, probably the easiest switch I've done, way easier than the 360. So now I have a mint translucent-purple multi-region RGB N64 looking rather swish with a Neo Myth 64 sitting on top of it. It doesn't get any better! 8)

Blew part of my paycheck on Red Dead and Sin and Punishment 2, they should both keep me busy for a while. RDR is pretty amazing, enjoying it way more than GTA4 and dare I say it the free form elements of Fallout 3. Sin and Punishment 2 is also stunning, flawless third person bullet hell action.

Well i thought for a quid why not ? Not that I can speak Japanese but - as the phrase goes - it's a novelty.

Same thing happened last year when I got an N64 and about 12 games - 2 of them were US copies.

Bargain for the Intellivision. Today I got Darksiders on 360 and an N64 Rumble Pack for 5p!

Enjoy. This one's weird, in that it's got an incredible story... But the progression is so elongated and tedious that you'll see very little of it. Overall a good game, if you like roguelikes and can stick with it.

As for me, I got Luminous Arc (DS) for £5 outta GAME. Not bad, I reckon.

Well I went into HMV today, return The World Ends With You - censored stunning graphics and atmosphere, amazing style.... but shitty gameplay - sorry :( Got my money put onto a gift card, and shagged off buying nowt. I did go into GAME, though in fairness, it was a GAME I wasn't in in ages, and was just curious, but left empty handed.

So I bought nothing today and am very happy about that. I spent a good bit of time playing the superb Miles Edgrworth on DS. Unbelievably, Speed Racer on the DS is excellent  I was right about it, it is worth a go. Graphics are smooth, its fast, colourful (though a tad garish) and it handles well. For 6 quid it was well worth it :D
