I just bought all the Dishonoured DLC at half price then went to download the main game, only to realise it stopped being free yesterday. Oops.

I picked up a bag of GBA games a while back for £4, however a dealer has moved in and hoovers up everything...he buys for dirt cheap prices and for sme reason, people accept it.

And I'm fairly sure hes the same guy that has sown up the local tip too.

Sigh.

I love Grandia and Grandia 2 (DC) but im never going to buy an import console for Grandia 3 alone. Id like to see a collection of them but that will never happen.

Those PSP games look nice Minty - another couple I hadnt heard of.

Ok it wasn't this week, but my most recent console pickups have been an Atari Lynx 2 and an Xbone.

Atari Lynx games:

Joust
Toki
Ninja Gaiden
Roadblasters

...and a bunch of others that I can't remember at the moment.

Xbone games:

Killer Instinct Ultra Edition
Watch Dogs
Wolfenstein: The New Order
Rayman Legends
Lego Marvel Superheroes
Thief
Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes
A game that's like a spiritual successor to Panzer Dragoon, the name of which escapes me at the moment
Super Time Force

I only heard about Cho Aniki on the PSP myself about six months ago and I've been waiting since then to see the LE for a decent price.

Salamander Portable is great, not only is the awesome Salamander 2 on the UMD but also XEXEX which is such a playable shmup.

I seem to be last to hear about a lot of these things. I was early investing in Pier Solar (megadrive) but missed quite a few others . Missed Eliminage by a lunar mile too.

Only a few random bits this week:

Image

GBA SP and a few random carts courtesy of the legendary Nokgod, his epic pass-the-parcel wrapping and the Random Niceness Plus thread :) . As a bonus, it was only about a month ago that I was thinking of getting D&D Eye of the Beholder for the GBA so for one of the carts to be that very game is quite sweet 8)

Also, another book for the shelf:

Had a flick through it and it really does have everything from all official art to concept sketches, interviews and cool anecdotes about many of the pieces from the original artists. Yeah, a lot of the same stuff is also in the Darkstalkers Graphic File (which I already have) but there is plenty of stuff exclusive to this book so I'm looking forward to giving it a proper read.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.
