Its ace. Only managed to get to the third level on one credit so far. Learning enemy attack patterns along the way and getting better each time. Great run n gun game. Saw my brother play Hard Corps Uprising the other day and got in the mood for something like Contra. Reminds me of Gunstar Heroes slightly too

On another note, I played that War of Monsters game you mentioned. Another mindless fun game. Plays better than the Godzilla game on GC I've played. I will think of you if I want to get rid though

As my misses has banned me from Ebay for a week or two as my birthday is coming up and Ebay refuses not to show you everything you have ever looked at, ive left her to find my gaming bargains this month. I gave her some tips and methods i use to source decent priced retro items and to my suprise she got this little bundle for £18 :) . The popeye game is worth double that on a good day, so she did well.

I made the mistake of posting a link to an auction that id won once, just to prove it had happened, shortly after it was posted i was never able to buy games like that again

A bundle arrived today(last lot i was allowed to bid on before being banned from Ebay over my birthday). 99p, the lot :) . Looks like a whole lot of junk....apart from the c64 disc games, absolute bargain at that price, proper chuffed.

Got hold of a couple of soundtracks that I've been after for a while:

my everdrive 64 turned up this week - so I'm looking forward to sorting that out.

Plus another bundle of PS2 goodness...

Corvette, Detonator, Malice, The Red Star, Penny Racers, Ghost Hunter, The Thing, Sensible Soccer, Pirates The Legend of Black Kat, Ring of Red, Pool Paradise and Whiplash. These costs me about a tenner... great time to buy for the PS2...

Agreed. I picked up a minty Tomb Raider Legend today for a £1. Nothing special about that you might say, except there was an official PS2 memory card in the case, too :D
