Yeah some have very bland art work considering how much concept art was probably done. Loved the art book for the first mass effect game that came with the game guide in a special bundle. The final fantasy x-2 art book also with the guide in a special pack was pretty good if I remember right. Been boxed up for a while so memory is a bit fuzzy on that one. Which there was more books for the mass effect series as I love concept art work of landscapes and the ones for this series are glorious.Alarm wrote:Art books when done well can be stunning.

Nothing spectacular but Game were doing a 3 for 2 on pre-owned PS3 games so I picked up some titles I have been wanting to play since switching from the 360, GT5 and MGS4, struggled to find a decent third title but opted for Hitman: Absolution. Got to the counter and managed to have a good look at a plastic display PS4, very nice looking console, very little height to it.
Heard the usual line at the counter when somebody was buying Battlefield 4..."We have a pre-owned copy for £5 less"

I got FIFA 13 (yes 13) on Wii U for £5, Prototype 2 on 360 for £7 and Front Mission Evolved on PS3 for just £2. About all that interested me in the Blockbuster closing down sale. Fair bit of stuff available though.

I liked the coin-op version. Loathed the computer interpretations. Haven't really played the Sega console versions.

thats what i thought, my missus found a new found glory album for £1.99 and chopper (she wanted to see it, i watched it about 10 years ago and lost my copy) so i figured if i can buy something worth more than what we paid for the whole lot put together then thats all goodBlack Ridge wrote:You never know its always worth lookingflatapex wrote:archer macleans mercury for the psp £1.99 from thats entertainment

Mercury was one of those double pack games that had made an appearance in the pound shop but I never got a copy. Still yet to get it - i refused to pay the £4.00 most of the Crack Converters had put on the large quantity of copies that had blatantly been robbed from pound shops.
