picked up this:

Image

A generic 'NOC', kid round the corner was having a little pasting table tray sale outside his house, gave him the £2 he wanted for it and walked away. Light Gun is useless (on LCD anyway) but found it an alright little thing. Lid flips up, built in games and a little famicom style cart with extra games. Runs off D battery's. all boxed with instructions. I only popped out for a bread loaf....oh well

Nah, famicom was something I was never really interested in (oh the shame!!). I do have a friend who has a massive collection so when I get back to work I'll borrow a few of the crappier titles off her. I have heard of some of the NOC/clones playing famicom games, but some struggle with some of the mappers on certain carts (as my understanding of them goes). Im back at work on Thursday so will update. Not sure what Im doing with it to be honest, the wife wasn't impressed, just looked up, rolled her eyes and sighed at me, so under the bed it goes for the time being...

Been there. £2, hardly gonna cause you any late mortgage payments, in fairness. You could easily sell it on for five times that amount to some collector with a penchant for Famiclones.

Its not so much the money she is bothered about, if it was I'd be having a massive eBay shoe sale, all hers of course, she more concerned about space! Been on holiday for the past week and half and everywhere we have been Ive picked up games/gadgets and childish gubbins (as she calls them) from countless charity/bric-a-brac/carboots up and down the UK and they've all ended up under the bed, oh well, she knew what she was marrying into

Just fired my friend an email off to tell her to bring a couple of famicom carts into work on thursday, planning ahead and she'll prob still forget...

A black 3DS and Dead or Alive Dimensions. Didn't plan on getting a 3DS yet but came home with one anyway

Yep push it in either end and you have RGB on an Xbox, cant get any easier than that. It makes Steel Battalion look great on a 32" LCD!

Also after regretting selling my original one at the beginning of the year I was alerted to Zavvi selling TE sticks for £99.99. Placed an order straight away on Friday and it arrived this morning :D
