I managed to bag a GBA SP with a copy of Advance wars for £13.50 including p&p off ebay. Quite pleased with that as I saw a copy of Advance wars on its own for £14.99 in a games shop yesterday.

welcome to the forum mate. Good price there...you should get your money's worth out of Advance Wars as well. Fab game with a good few hours to be ploughed into it.. :)

Damn! that would have been awesome. Let me know how good they are, if you do get a component cable mate. I've always shied away from picking one up because of the cost, i don't mind if you're the guinea pig though....

Be aware that the component cable will only work on your NTSC GC. :)

For true? I never even knew that  Probably not worth my while yet, then. My NTSC collection amounts to 1 game so far (although the second one might not be far away)

He's wrong. I've got a PAL Gamecube and the Component cable work just fine on my PAL games.

My bad. No progressive video though. Making it no better than an rgb cable and a wasted purchase kinda.

Just got me a GX4000 for 15 quid including postage. I was quite proud of myself for that. Even if I'll probably never end up buying a game for less than half that XD Awiting the boxed Atari 2600 I got last week too for 30 quid. Misspelt eBay auctions ftw!

Good choice. Personally I preferred the PS2 originals missions and story more than this remake but the controls are much better and its generally far more forgiving difficulty wise.
