Been after one for YEARS, and, after being inspired once more by today's RG article, I looked once more for a Gamate, and found one. On the Italian eBay!
The article said they were more common there, and yes indeed, found one!

A Gamate, with four games, for €70... Bargain?
Who cares, I'm happy :D
There's tons of games there too, for around €10 each. Fun times.

(Just have to wait for delivery now).

Also, today's post brought:
-Earthworm Jim Special Edition (Mega CD), no book, but it was a decent price.
-Granada and McDonald's Treasure Land Adventure for the Mega Drive from Ash.
My comics blog (mostly lesser-known UK stuff from the 80s and 90s)

Nice one :) . The PSP version is probably the best version content-wise of all the Darkstalkers games.

What about the PS2 Darkstalkers Compilation? That had a ton of content plus an all new exclusive character (some kind of demonic form of Donovan)

Yeah, the PS2 version is great but it's a collection of all the original games like the Street Fighter Alpha Anthology. The PSP (and DC) versions are like a mash-up of all the games and characters plus it has the Tower mode which is a real challenge.

The PS2 exclusive character is a cross of Donovan and Demitri, supposedly Donovan after he completely gives in to his vampiric blood.

I just bought Pokemon Colosseum for the GC for a fiver from GS, probably wont like the game, but it came with the memory card which is useful.

Also 2 more ps2 games: Reservoir Dogs and Thunderhawk Operation Phoenix, pound each.

oh, and an SE of the Stephen King adap The Mist. Has a black and white version and loads of features. £2.00.

Paid for, but not yet received a boxed white Japanese Saturn, trying to prioritise which games to get first.

I picked up 3d Dot Game Heroes from Asda for £20.

I think I need to slow down with the purchases now, though.

Just won Panzer Dragoon, Panzer Dragoon Zwei and Panzer Dragoon Saga (all for the Saturn) in an auction from Ebay costing me £110. :)

Everything looks in mint/near mint condition. I know I probably paid slightly over the odds but I've been after Panzer Dragoon Saga for absolutely ages (it's been one of my 'holy grails') and I didn't have the first games either, so buying them all at once made sense to me. :) Just decided to go a bit crazy and treat myself.

Next thing I'm after now is a Virtual Boy :D
Sig pic temporarily removed...The Magnificent 7 will ride again 8)

Right I have had a family day out and went crazy with my money.
Me and my mum have agreed that from now on I can only spend 1/5 of my weekly work wage.

Carboot:
Gameboy:
Street Fighter Alpha 3 (Game Boy Color) £3 (I was expecting this to be utter poo like SF2 on GB, this is really actually good, well good besides the lack of bison, Dan & akuma)

N64:
WWF No mercy £1
Wave Race 64 £1.50
Crusin USA £1.50 (I know it is rubbish but I want to see how rubbish)
Perfect Dark £1
1080 £1 (boxed and complete, I own this already, but you know I have the box now)
Monster Truck madness 64 £1 (Boxed and complete, this is made by rockstar and microsoft so this might be a hidden gem)

PS1:
Jade Cocoon £1 (This is actually a really good find, it seems to be quite rare)
Heart of Darkness £2 (I already had heard good things about this but the fact that it was made by the guy who created another world made it a buy for me)

PS2:
Psyvariar £2.50 (new sealed, not expecting anything amazing but I thought that it would be worth a go)

Dreamcast:
2 controllers and a VMU £1.50 (all I need now is some mates over for 4 player chu chu rocket)

Xbox:
Arcade Stick £2.50

Today i have been two places, wrexham and broughton retail park, I spent a lot of money:
Xbox 360:
Dark Void £5 (Tesco)
Fallout 3 £8 (game)
Bayonetta £8 (game)

Wii:
Spyborgs £5.50 (Tesco)

DS:
Metroid Prime Hunters £5 (gamestation)
Starfox Command £3 (gamestation)

Gamecube:
Killer 7 £10 (gamestation, I really should have got it on ps2 for £3 but this is one game I really want for my gamecube collection, I think I now own all of the original "Capcom 5")
Future taticts 10p (cex, this game is meant to be awful but for 10p I can make my cube colelction look a little bit better)

On my way out of gamestation my step dad noticed a pile of Sega Saturn stuff, the gamestation staff said that they were selling the games to raise money for charity, my stepdad got an official arcade stick for £7 (I envy him) while I got:
Clockwork Knight £3
Daytona USA £3
Daytona USA Championship Circuit Edition £3
I also had to go post office to send some postal orders, that set me back £25.

I won't be spending like that again for a long time, I saving from now on, will take me weeks to play them all.

I agree. The gameplay mechanic takes a while to get used to (if the bullets hit your wings, you get a combo), but it's really fun to play. A bargain at £2.50, the same price I got mine for. A definite steal.
JSW's Guff Emporium! <- My bit of t'internet.
