With collecting, although you don't relaise it, it's easy to fall into the collectors trap. Where you're buying games just to have them, everyone here can say that they do that. Its an easy mistake to make. I have been making the same mistake for around 4 years untill now where i'v3e relaised that, in fact i enjoy life more than 1000 video games i don't ever play. I was buying games just to say i had them, which let's be honest is just pathetic.

Stop ignoring alcohol, and go down the pubs with your friends.
Weren't you £1000 into your overdraft a few months back?

Seriously, I never go into mine. Too stupid - especially on something as dumb as games.

Recently as I've not been buying tons of censored I've been eating well and my skin has gone from rough and horrid to reasonably normal which is great. I'm beginning to enjoy life more, and don't even walk into game stores unless there's a game I specifically want.

I get nervous when I'm into double digits, let alone a negative figure. :?

I earn about £300 a month from my part time job - which goes towards games and food.

That is all great until in a few years time when your a bit older and all settled down with no games. You will look back at all the great games you had and all the money you have pissed up the wall. Then you will start collecting the games all over again.Trust me on that one.Swings and roundabouts it is :D

It's not games that affect your social life, it's women and mortgages.

I'm on the side of "Buying Games Is Good" - a pox on women and booze!

My Game Axe and twelve Famicom games finally arrived today, so I'll be getting some batteries tomorrow to try them out. Going past the charity shop on the way to work, they had some Game Boy games in the window for £1 each so bought those (Alleyway, Popeye, George Forman's KO Boxing, Kung Fu Master). There was a wasp in the window as well, so that was my brush with death for the day.
My comics blog (mostly lesser-known UK stuff from the 80s and 90s)

I'm part of the "besides my obvious school-related obligations, my money goes to whatever I feel like doing and conkers to what anyone thinks about it."

If I want to buy a game, I will. If I want to go have drinks, I will. It's all a matter of learning how to manage your cash. Being a little overdraft isn't the end of the world. I mean, I'm overdraft as well at the moment, but as long as I even things out by the end of the month the bank doesn't fuss. Having a bank manager that's a good and close acquaintance of the family helps, too :)

Always on the look-out for fighting games!
Have any stray ones laying about? Let me know and we'll try to give them a cosy new home.

About to go on an PS1 eBay spending spree - although not looking forward to seeing how much the shipping to the States will be :?

Other than that the last few days have seen the arrival of Red Dead Redemption and Alan Wake for the 360 - the latter i've yet to even open.
