I had a nice suprise today when i went into one of the game shops, i saw a ps2 in the display cabinet and asked how much and he told me it does'nt read disks so he cant sell it, so i explained that i have a whole new laser for a ps2 but no ps2 so would he let me buy it anyway and he just got it out of the cabinet and said i can have it for FREE!!,
anyway, i got it home and cleaned the laser and greased the runners and it works perfectly and ive since discovered it has been fitted with an infinity v1.38 mod chip .

Some other things i got from various places are:

Donkey kong country 3 (dixie kong's double trouble)for snes £4.99 from oxfam.(this game is mint with inserts booklet and game still in little bag)

resident evil 3 ps1 £2.99
worms armageddon ps1 £1.50 this game is still sealed
x-men mutant academy 2 ps1 £1.50

GTA: liberty city stories PS2 £3.00

Recently been taking advantage of the cheap PS2 games on the high street, and got some that i never knew existed, They may be rubbish but they looked good on the cover, anyone familiar with any of these titles - Mystic Heroes, Primal, Vexx, Magnacarta, Beatdown, EXZues, project Zero.

Recently been taking advantage of the cheap PS2 games on the high street, and got some that i never knew existed, They may be rubbish but they looked good on the cover, anyone familiar with any of these titles - Mystic Heroes, Primal, Vexx, Magnacarta, Beatdown, EXZues, project Zero.

Project Zero is a fantastic survival horror game not to mention (in my opinion) one of the scariest games around. I liked Beatdown as well despite all the bad reviews it got, unlocking all the characters and such was a fun challenge.

Project Zero is good, definitely worth picking up. There are two PS2 sequels as well.

Primal is supposedly decent I think. Beat Down is supposedly censored. Mystic Heroes and Vexx both look alright (although I've played neither) and I've never heard of the other two.

I never knew Magna Carta had a PAL release...that's an RPG right? I think the sequel just came out on the 360. Will look into picking it up myself for my PS2 collection.

Play.com is good, I've bought my last 10 games or something and I've always been very happy with them! And I've just received an email saying that if you pre-order MW2, they guarantee you get it on release date.
