Is this game worth tracking down? It looked pretty good in the screen shots.

Never seen it in any shop though.....

My brother was given a mint ZX Spectrum + (not sure it's that model, don't know much about them) for free from a friend, and he's passed it on to me. It's been over 10 years since I've had one of these things! I hung on to a small pile of games, so I'm looking forward to spending an entire afternoon staring at several different loading screens :D

Two eBay purchases for the PS1.

Namco Museum Vol 1 - £3.95 for the US NTSC version. Pacman, Rally-X, New Rally-X, Galaga, Pole Position, Toy Pop and Bosconian. Seemed good value for money when you think of the silly prices that Gamestation used to want for the PAL version.

Pong - If the good Reverend Stuart Campbell raves about it, it'll do for me (I noticed that reading his WOS site that we think along much the same lines when it comes to gaming). For a mighty 15p (!) which must be the cheapest original game I've ever bought.

Just noticed this - absolute bargain I LOVE Hogs of War - quality choice.

At those prices it is a crying shame that it's having to close.

Yeah I like it, its a weird game - your either helicopter or plane and you go left to right killing enemies and blowing up bases whilst waiting for your team to capture them. However you can also pick up civies.
For £3, its worth it :)

Have now picked up an Xbox 360 Elite with the following:

120Gb drive  (Though this would be missing at the price)
Wireless Adaptor
Wireless Controller
Chat Keypad thing
COD4
CSI
Kayne and Lynch
Army of 2
Bourne thingy
HDMI Adaptor
Component Cable
2 x Headsets

For £150 cash :D, was looking to get a premium online for £160 ish so more than happy. I imagine the games apart from COD4 are arse but hey.

Damn good price (especially as it has the HDD, Keypad and all). I actually liked K&L and Ao2 but they aren't the best examples of their genre by any stretch. Bourne was actually quite fun from the demo I played, really must get the full game one day.

Game it was £7.99 - £2.50 from points I had on my card. They must have ran it through the till wrong as that makes £5.49 unless I'm very much mistaken. Must have been a bad day as the lass behind the counter nearly ran a copy Vegas 2 through the till instead of 1 at £4.50 by mistake

Ooh that would have been good. Another thread complaining of stupid GAME staff putting an old game into the case, but hwo about if they put the sequel into the old case?

I've heard a bit about it, any good?

Yep whilst all this was happening I was very quiet...............

It's quite good I've not played single player yet but I've played it co-op round at my mates. It seems to be like Ghost Recon just a bit less complicated, it seems to go after the realism of combat - I'm really into my war games at the moment
