My boss yesterday gave me a gameboy advance with a modified back which has a port on it. A chuck of white plastic then plugs into that and the battery holder and sits on the back of the GBA. This then has Composite, S-video and Stereo leads on it, allowing you to play the GBA on a tv.

I believe it was used by game QA departments as a cheap way of testing GBA games without needing to squint at the screen, and get the lighting just right for the screen.

As soon as I did out a stepdown transformer for the AC adapter, or an alternative 240v adapter I'll give it a whirl and see how it compares to a Gamecube GB Player

Finally managed to get a replacement Master System, I had an old shape and a MS 2 die on me last year.

It's an original design system and it cost me the princely sum of £3, It came with two broken pads and no AV cable - I've got about 3 lying around so I'm not worried!

That's the one alright, re: qa usage, studios would buy them as they were cheaper than the official hardware

Had a quick look in Game (Liverpool City Centre) on the way home earlier.

Discovered that they were selling Fallout 3 on both Xbox 360 and PS3 for £27.99 as their 'Deal Of The Week'. That price applies to the special edition box with the figurine too. So I bought an Xbox 360 one.

That's my weekend sorted :D
