It honestly wouldn't surprise me to get the Change Request.SirClive wrote:Do they need stereo sound in loss adjustment spreadsheetsDudley wrote:It significently affects the experience for most people. Therefore it's broken.
I work in software, it would have been a very clear release blocker on any sensible Q+A dept's scale.
What games/consoles have you bought this week??

Just got a Justifier Light Gun to go with my soon to arrive copy of Snatcher for £3, for that price it was worth it!

Which is more broken? The Wii's mono sound or the PS2's lack of online play?
I was leaning towards PS2 as I already have a guitar, but its offline only.

Just bought Animal Crossing on the Gamecube for my sister for Christmas. She's wanted it for so long and has been addicted to Animal Crossing: Wild World on the DS since I bought it for her last Christmas! It's been incredibly hard to source, I decided not to use eBay as an option, just in case I got a copy that didn't work. And besides, I'm glad it worked when I tested it, 'cos £19.99 for a pre-owned Gamecube game is extortion!

The PS2 one is just a missing feature. That's fair enough unless they claim to have it.
The Wii version claims to have Dolby Pro Logic 2 and doesn't even have stereo.
Now it's possible you can make a case for being a better version but there's nothing that makes the PS2 version "Broken" as such.

That I didn't know. I assumed they'd just glossed over it. An obvious bug rather than a design decision then.Dudley wrote:The Wii version claims to have Dolby Pro Logic 2 and doesn't even have stereo.

Amplitude - £15 second hand from e-bay. Really got hooked as Official Playstation 2 Magazine had a demo on the cover about two months ago and fell in love. Frequency - £13 again second hand from Amazon, I l really love this as well. Must say, have been really luck with my second hand purchases - the discs are in near perfect condition. Am going to have curb the spending on the old games for a little while. If I had the room and money, it would be Guitar Hero all the way. Great little party games those two as well.Antiriad2097 wrote:I've always fancied those but never seen them around. And on the GHIII/mono subject:
Fix Coming For Wii's Guitar Hero III Mono Problem
Activision will offer free, remastered game disks in early 2008.
IGN"We recently became aware that some consumers have not been able to enjoy the full audio output in the Nintendo Wii version of Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock. We are currently working with Nintendo and are planning to issue an improved audio experience in future versions of the game," said Activision spokeswoman Rhy-Ming Poon. "We expect to have re-mastered discs available by early 2008 and we will be offering consumers replacement discs at no cost once they become available. We thank all of our customers for their support and patience."
