Also, unrelated to Capcom, I grabbed Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 on the PS4 as the games were surprise announced this week for English releases. 3 is out now, 4 and 5 are out in a few months time. Not played much of the new localisation of 3 yet, but what I've seen is way better than the PS3 version.
Wow, didn't know about this. Have they un-censored Y3 this time? I seem to remember the PS3 having a lot of edits made to it.
3 is completely redone localisation wise. So basically:

All 119 side stories from the Asian PS4 version is in (worth noting 4 stories were cut over the PS3 version - 3 transphobic ones, and one that required Answer X Answer Mini game). For reference PS3 UK Yakuza 3 only had 103 side stories.

Aside from the quiz game Answer X Answer still being cut (it was cut from all PS4 versions), all mini games are in - hostess clubs, No.1 Hostess Maker, Mahjong, Shogi, Massage Parlour etc.

Story translation completely redone - so now the names are all correct (no more Fuma, Rex etc.) Game runs in 60FPS and looks way better than on PS3 as well. Undoubtedly the best version of the game.

Was feeling down today, so used a gifted £20 to spoil myself.

Atari Flashback Classics Vol 1 (XBONE)- £8
Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series (XBone)- £10 (Since Telltale's Games are in a funny place of limbo right now)

Continued with my day, and ooo, are those Mega Drive games I see?

*Sings* WHERE, IN THE WORLD, IS, CARMEN SANDIEGO? XD

Just remembering the theme song jingle put a smile on my face, so picked it up.

They also had Hobbit on Xbox for 50p. Can't argue with that price too.

Pre-ordered the Yakuza Remaster Collection on PS4...then realised that it won't be released until Feb 2020 lol

Still, it looks like a sweet pack. The physical PS3 game case for Yakuza 5 is a nice touch and a nod to the fact that many were disappointed with the original Yakuza 5 being digital-only.

Still got a few PS4 Yakuza games to get through anyway so I'm in no rush!
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

Yeah, the digital releases are being released one by one (3 is out now, 4 is out at the end of next month, 5 is Feb 2020). The physical collection will look really nice on my Yakuza shelf for sure, I really appreciate the PS3 case for 5, just a cool little nod for those that remember what those days of Yakuza localisations were like back in the day...

Seems to be getting lucky with the local retro pick ups.

Discovering a comicbook shop that has a retro game selection at fair prices helped. Guess I'll be having regular retro pick ups again. :)

For now, I finally own a zapper! £10. Thunderbirds Collection comic, 20p.

I have rejoined the elite and bought myself a pc. It's a £200 ex-fleet/business i7 gen 4 Dell. I've also got a 4gb GTX970 and uprated power supply to bung into it. It will need a more memory and storage eventually but it should comfortably out-perform an XBone and was cheap enough for me to tinker with.

Fear 3 360 box set complete with naked creepy ghost girl statue, PS3 Ghosts and GTA V in the flee market £1 each.

Not sure why as I don’t own a PS3 and hate all 3 games.
