Just bought a Mega drive 2 on ebay that was knocked down from £11.80 to £10.50.

Got all the mega drive 2 leads and wires but no console - that has now changed...

I finally managed to snag another copy of Sunset riders on the snes. It might be a repro cart, but I don't give a monkeys. I'm finally getting to play a hard copy of the game on my machine again, that's all I'm happy about!!!

Parappa the Rappa 2 on PSN. The original is one of my all-time fave games and I've never had the chance to play the sequel. Can't wait to give it a proper go tomorrow.

Contra Spirits!

I wonder if it differs from Contra III in any way in terms of content (obviously has differences with Super Probotector for PAL, but often games leaving japan also compromised the story as us westerners clearly weren't ready for it at the time!). Quality game though, easily my favourite Contra game, followed up by Operation C on the Gameboy.

Contra Spirits is easier has infinite continues and imputing the Konami code gives you 30 lives and a level select, after you beat the last boss a brain comes out of it and chases you.. The brain isn't on Contra 3 on Normal game ends when the last boss is beaten - friend says the Brain is a true last boss and it has to be finished on hard for the proper ending..
