The choice of menu music is certainly different. I like it. The game itself looks huge, but I can easily break it down into manageable chunks.
Project Cars seems to have fallen under the radar, any good?
From what I've seen so far, I'd say yes. There are loads of tracks and a variety of different car types (karts, road car, open wheel, touring car etc). The wealth of options means you can pretty much play the game how you want, although it is a simulation. It seems similar to Forza, but without the rewind function. Personally I think it is much better than Gran Turismo.

The graphics are great and the sound is good from what I can tell. It can be tricky to control, but you can adjust the settings to get around that. There aren't the 100s of cars we're used to seeing, but there are enough to suit most tastes. At least there aren't dozens of different Nissan Skylines.

Got these at the car boot today. Don't know if the prices were worth it but House of the Dead has alluded me for some time on the Wii. I don't know whether to keep them or revive the RN+ thread with them.
I would definitely give Disaster a chance if you've not already played it. The game is ridiculous in an over-the-top disaster action movie way but uses the Wii remote in loads of different ways throughout the course of the game and always feels fun to interact with i.e. the motion controls aren't just bolted on for the sake of it. The Time Crisis-style shooting sections are really fun and there's some good replayability with unlockable weapons and collectables. I paid the full £40 for it on release and still think it was one of my best Wii purchases :)

HotD II & III are great ports and should be a staple of any Wii owner's arcade collection if they have one. Haven't played Tunguska but I've always been curious.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

Some PS4 games:

PES 2015: Finally getting sick of FIFA and looking to make the switch back, doing a bit of research before delving in and putting my money on PES 2016.

The Walking Dead: Season 1: Already played and completed it on PC but really enjoyed it and wanted to own a physical copy.

The bad thing about it is that it should come in a velvet box with a couple of extras. Good old CEX. Just the disc and the box. No instructions either.

Luckily I have the PS3 version which has it all.

Picked up a second-hand WiiU - Zelda Edition on Saturday. Sadly the previous owner had done a factory reset on it, so there wasn't any Wind Waker HD. Picked up Assassin's Creed : Black Flag for it later the same day though. Next in line for it will be Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and a Pro contoller.
Where logic won't work, I will

You might be able to go to the e-shop and select it from download history? I was able to do that with my 3DS Fire Emblem edition.

A friend of a friend offered me a 2DS real cheap - how could I resist?

Also - games (bought from shops):
Asphalt 3D
Dead or Alive Dimensions
F1 2011
Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask
Ridge Racer 3D
Super Street Fighter IV 3D Edition
Tetris Ultimate

Yoshi's Woolly World on Wii U for my son. The number one wool based game of the year no doubt!

Tropico 5 (PS4) - Having finished the Witcher story line, I wanted a totally different genre to play.
