Golden Axe: Beast Rider is AWFUL. I bought that game on release for about 20 bucks and couldn't believe just how broken it was. Since then I've re-bought it several times, each time hoping beyond hope it turns out to be better than I first thought it was.

Might switch force £1.25.

The 3d series on 3ds half price.
Picked up Mighty Switch Force 1 & 2, and 3D Super Hang-On, Space Harrier and Altered Beast for less than a tenner. Outrun was back up to full price.

Also bought the new Gauntlet for PC, was on special offer at bundlestars.

The ace concept artwork is the only good thing about the Beast Rider. I paid a fiver for mine and still hated the game.
Retro is a state of mind, and cares not for your puny concepts like dates and calendars.

Pretty much the same here Rayne I bought it a few times and sold it, bought again then swapped it to my friend.. I watched my friend finish it the other night with the battler blade(1 hit kill for Tyris) and he made it look easy.. Unfortunately it's just as annoying as I remember it different buttons to parry different moves, and instant deaths when blown off cliff's and the Trials of Tyris make me want to snap the pad in frustration

I paid £3 for mine Rich and it was mostly for the amazing artwork and that you never see it in the wild

I kinda enjoyed it, if it was a bit looser with the counters and timing of combos id of enjoyed it more
